  • Why? It’s stickier, bumpier and it’s not made from paraffin or soy.
  • “But wax is just wax?”
  • No matter what your ride or your skill level it’s always best to have a little wax- Even if it’s to give to family or make friends in the lot.
  • For your stomp pads or foamies, a little grip goes a long way. Sometimes (most of the time) it’s all mental.
  • Yew might as well stock-up sustainably.
  • It's better for the environment and works just as well (if not better) than anything you have used.

DIRECTIONS (if yew need them):

  • Do not eat. Even all natural wax isn’t good for your digestive system. 
  • FOR BEST USE: Apply base coat on all fresh/clean/newly dewaxed boards.
  • This bar is harder than all of YEW!’s top coats. It is meant to give structure to the other waxes to provide the highest performing traction.
  • Once you have your preferred bumps, apply top coat for the proper water temperature on top of the base coat.

Pro Tips:

  • This base coat is tackier and harder than anything you have used before, go with the cross pattern application. 
  • For boards 5-8 feet use at least one bar of base coat. For boards 8 feet and up use 2 bars.
  • You can get away with only using half a bar of base coat and if you are a wax head you could wax your log with 4 bars. It’s totally preference based. 
  • When waxing your board please apply indoors or in a cool shaded area.
  • If hot and humid please put wax in a shaded area, cooler or fridge to keep it in optimal application condition.
  • When you aren’t using your board, turn it over or keep it in the shade.
  • Avoid direct sunlight to help prevent the wax from melting.
